About me
I am a people person with an extensive sales, written content, marketing, and social media management career. My past roles in sales earned top 1% performer accolades year after year and have benefited me in many roles, contributing to many on-the-job responsibilities, including the confidence needed as a public speaker. My expertise in consumer behavior has led to effective marketing strategies that have strengthened brand loyalty and turnaround performance. I am interested in opportunities that will allow me to tap into a wide range of skills learned in previously held roles.
My passion outside the corporate world is centered around my family and the sea. My family is my priority. Even if it is just something I do for fun, I will always advocate for the sea and its creatures. I actively maintain a customer service-based role in marine mammal education, conservation, and ocean advocacy. My most recent experience has allowed me to develop my technical and creative writing through cultivating research articles about the ocean and its contents – specific to marine life and the ecosystems in Dana Point’s wetlands and ocean cetacean populations.

I seize opportunities to challenge myself and invite my clients and internal teams to think bigger without jeopardizing brand initiatives, thus creating lasting rapport with everyone I meet and work alongside. I believe there are no “I’s” in the word team, and I welcome the opportunity to be a part of something bigger. My biggest strength is my desire to be challenged, and as a result, I can learn anything you put in front of me. Deadlines don’t scare me – they motivate me, and learning something new fuels my fire.
What I am passionate about
Family. The ocean. Writing (In that order)
For as long as I can remember, water has been my passion. More specifically, the ocean and its cetacean inhabitants. At the young age of six years old I always knew I wanted to study it.
As the years passed, and directional changes led me away from it, I found myself yearning to find a way to get back to the ocean. After a global relocation and a reconnection to what I love, I now am able to combine my passion for the ocean by writing about it and connecting a global community with the amazement of the sea.
Now as a mother of two with a husband who I have been blessed to live with for over 20 years, I am able to connect all of my passions into one place. Together we live by the sea, give back to our local communities, and connect others to the ocean by creating connection with the animals that last a lifetime.
